| So using this new information searching for DACEY instead of DALY I found that John's sister Mrs Michael Dacey is Sarah Murphy Dacey. Michael Dacey and Sarah Murphy were married on July 21, 1893 and they left Ireland on their Honeymoon. Click here to see an article about their 50th wedding anniversary on July 21, 1943 One of the articles that I came across when searching for the name Dacey in the Syracuse Newspapers was about Mrs. Michael Darcy's brother Patrick Murphy being accused of Murder. Yes that is right I said Murder. Patrick had a very interesting life and it is described in full detail through the trial. Patrick was a Policeman for the Railroad. Michael J. Murphy. He was born 1869 in Ireland. Residence 1915 in Syracuse, NY. He died on 11 Nov 1946 in Syracuse, NY. Sarah Murphy. She was born Jan 1875 in Ireland. She married Michael Dacey. They were married on 21 Jul 1893 in Ireland. Female Murphy. Not sure what her frist name is but I know she married a John Bush and Lived in England when in 1914 & 1915 when both Patrick and John died. But she was not mentioned in Michael's obituary in 1946 so she died between 1915-1946 Female Murphy. Not sure what her first name is either but I know she married a Bernard A. Traynor and Lived in England when in 1914 & 1915 when both Patrick and John died and is in Midddlesex, England in 1946 when Michael died. |
